It will *replace* any version of KDE 4 you might have installed!
The Plasma 5 Desktop has gotten rid of its Qt4 legacy. Since the release of
Applications 17.12 there's nothing left which is based on kdelibs4.
What is the NEWS in this batch of updates:
-- In 'deps', I updated 'mlt' to 6.10.0 because KDEnlive requires it.
- Also, a fontconfig file was added to the 'noto-cjk-font-ttf' package in
- the hope that it helps people.
- Frameworks update is a stability release, see:
-- Plasma 5.13.4 is an incremental upgrade in the Plasma Desktop 5.13
+ https://www.kde.org/announcements/kde-frameworks-5.50.0.php .
+ One framework was added, 'syndication' which used to be part of KDEPIM
+ so effectively no package was added to the set.
+- Plasma 5.13.5 is an incremental upgrade in the Plasma Desktop 5.13
release cycle, bringing important stability and performance fixes.

-- Applications 18.08.0 is the highlight of this month. It marks a new
- quarterly refresh, adding two new packages to the KDEPIM collection:
- 'kpkpass' and 'kitinerary'.
- See https://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-applications-18.08.0.php .
-- In applications-extra I have upgraded 'okteta' and 'kstars' and rebuilt
- 'calligra' 'digikam' and 'krita' against the new boost libraries.
+- Applications 18.08.1 is the first stability update for this quarter's
+ applications set.
+ See https://www.kde.org/announcements/announce-applications-18.08.1.php .
+- In applications-extra I have upgraded 'okteta', 'ktorrent', 'kstars',
+ 'krusader' and the KDE Development packages 'kdevelop', 'kdev-python'
